Dr. Fernando Gabriel Resano, MD, age 77, of Ocean Springs, MS, died peacefully at home after a long illness, on Early Saturday morning, April 6, 2024.
Dr. Resano was a long-time resident of Washington, DC. He worked as a Cardiac Anesthesiologist at The Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC. He excelled at his profession and found great joy in his work.
Dr. Resano is predeceased by both his parents, Dr. Horaico Resano, MD, and Anna Maria Lasalle de Resano.
Survivors include his husband of 33 years (married 15 yrs.), Steven Joseph Richards; one son, Gabriel Resano Richards; and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial service will be held at a later date.
