Mrs. Edna V. Cuevas Moran, age 92, passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2014. She was born on November 6, 1921 in the Vidalia Community in Hancock County. She was a resident of West Lyman, Gulfport, since April of 1962. She was a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Lizana and was a devote Christian. She was also a member of St. Ann’s Altar Society, Choir and Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary.
She was the Mother of the Nights Travelers Family Band. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years Olige Raymond Moran. She is survived by her children, Garland Moran, Gayle Moran, Glinda (Jerry) Gartman, Sherry (Jerry) Rutland, Perry (Debbie) Moran, Barbara Moran, 11 Grandchildren & 20 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday, March 23, 2014, from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at BRADFORD-O’KEEFE FUNERAL HOME, O’NEAL RD., Gulfport. Rosary will be recited at 7:30 P.M. in the funeral home chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, March 24, 2014, 11:00 A.M. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Lizana, where friends may visit one hour before the Mass. Interment will follow in Finley Cemetery.
