Edna Sizemore

Edna Grace Sizemore, age 90, passed away on May 11, 2026 surrounded by her family and friends.

Edna’s life was defined by a deep commitment to her family that she loved so dearly. As an Air Force spouse, she traveled the country alongside her husband, Clayton Sizemore Sr., turning every new home into a place of warmth and laughter. Whether she was raising her own children or welcoming her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she was happiest when her house was filled with the people she loved.Edna had a natural gift for guiding others. She spent many years as a teacher in the Ocean Springs School District, where her patience and kindness left a lasting mark on her students.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband. She joins her parents, Archie and Mary Williams; her brother, Moses; and sisters, Mary and Nancy, in eternal rest. She is also preceded in death by her son-in-law, Duane Davis; and beloved grandson, Allen Davis, both of Ocean Springs.

Edna is survived by her brother, Major Williams; and her children, Terry Sizemore (Sharon), Muriel Davis, and Clayton Sizemore Jr. (Melissa). She was the cherished grandmother of Erin Spahic (Eldar), TJ Sizemore (Rachel), Jill Gray (Richard), Dean Davis (Melissa), Tyler Sizemore (Madelyn Jackson), Garrett Sizemore, Madison Sizemore (Seth Mears), and Ryder Sizemore, all of whom deeply loved their Nana. Her legacy of love continues through her great-grandchildren, Kyra Davis, Vaughn and Hatch Sizemore, and Braxton and Brooks Mears, all of whom she adored.

Instead of a traditional service, the family will host a celebration of life at a later time to honor her 90 years of love and laughter. Date and location will be announced once finalized.
