Edna Sue Ware

Edna Sue Ware, 76 of Vancleave, MS passed away on Friday, February 6, 2026.

She was born on April 12, 1949, in Bassfield, MS to Jesse Green and Thelma Tanner. She graduated from Bassfield High School. She worked at Pizza Break Café and Conoco in Vancleave. She enjoyed going fishing and crabbing, sewing, and being outdoors.

Edna is preceded in death by her parents, Jesse Green and Thelma Tanner; husband, William Lyman Ware, Sr.; and child, Terrill Ray Miller, Jr.

She is survived by her children, Terry Miller, Lorie Qualls (John) Holden, William Lyman Ware, Jr. (girlfriend, Heather); grandchildren, Ashley Tims, James (Buddy) R. Qualls, Nathan Ware, Natalie Ware; great-grandchildren, Krystal Tucker and Aaliyah Tims; and siblings, Veta M. Creel, Thelma N. Daire, and Dymple Vanderziel.

The family would like to thank the staff at Ocean Springs Hospital.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00pm on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Vancleave, MS. Friends may visit one hour prior. Burial will follow at Vancleave #2 Cemetery.
