Edward Rudolph Perkins

Mr. Edward R. Perkins, 85, of the Latimer Community, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, June 14, 2008. Mr. Perkins had been a resident of the Gulf Coast for the past 60 years. He served in the U. S. Army Air Corps during WW II and was a member of McClellan Road Baptist Church. Mr. Perkins was preceded in death by his wife, Blanche "Bea" Perkins, and daughter, Myra Gingerella. He is survived by a daughter, Brenda Armstrong of Gautier; sons, Edward E. "Buddy" Perkins and Jeffery L. Perkins, both of Latimer; sister, Louise Loucroy of Wallnut Grove, MS; brother, Kenneth Perkins of Wallnut Grove, MS; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Visitation is Monday, June 16, 2008, from 5 until 8 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Ocean Springs. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park.
