Edwin Harvey, Sr.

Edwin "Bud" Harvey, Sr., 59, of Gulfport, MS died on Thursday, June 16, 2011. Mr. Harvey was born in Winnsboro, LA and had been a resident of Gulfport for the past 10 years. He was a former chief of police of Abita Springs, LA. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be missed by all that knew him. Mr. Harvey is preceded in death by his father, Edwin Sidney Harvey. He is survived by his wife, Judy Harvey of Gulfport; mother, Dorothy Frith Vining of Macon, GA; daughters, Rebecca Jarrell of Pearl River, LA and Roxanna Yarbrough of Gulfport; son, Edwin Lynn Harvey, Jr. of Necaise; five sisters and one brother; seven grandchildren, Shane, Tyler, Karlie, Austin, Hailey, Sidney and Nikolas. Visitation will be Friday, June 17, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Both will be held at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, O'Neal Road, Gulfport. Interment will follow in Finley Cemetery, Gulfport.
