Edwin M. "Big Ed" Catchot, Sr.

Edwin Michael Catchot, Sr., age 79 of Ocean Springs, MS passed away on March 10, 2022.

He was born on November 27, 1942 in Biloxi, MS. He was a native and life long resident of the Coast. Edwin was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. He retired from Ingalls shipbuilding. Edwin enjoyed golf, fishing, and hunting.

Edwin was preceded in death by his parents, Harold Catchot, Sr. and Tillie Catchot; and his wife, Audrey Franklin Catchot.

He is survived by his sons, Joseph M. (Debbie Jo) Catchot, Edwin M. (Laura) Catchot, and Lance (Lindsey) Catchot; sisters, Donna Kaye (Jery) Guebard and Debbie Wallace; and brother, Harold (Carolyn) Catchot; and grandchildren, Amber, Christopher, Victoria, Constance, Suzanne Gonzales, and Kelle Sansone, and Wesley and Jordan Catchot.
