Effie Lois Collins

Effie Lois Collins, 84, went home to be with her Lord and Maker, Monday, November 26, 2007. She was a native of Louisiana and a long time resident of the Gulf Coast. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by seven brothers; four sisters; and a great-grandson, Jordan Rafferty. She is survived by her husband, Russell Thurston of Picayune; a son, Ricky Collins and wife, Dixie, of Baton Rouge; her daughter and caregiver, Leslie Jean Malley, and husband, Henry, of Biloxi and daughter, Bobbee Nall, of Louisiana; three grandchildren, Desha LaRosa and husband, Donnie, Natalie Ladner and husband, Dwight, all of Biloxi and Erica Collins of Baton Rouge; and numerous nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be Saturday, December 1, 2007 at 12 noon at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport where friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until the service.
