Elbert Freddie Blackwell

Elbert Freddie "Bo" Blackwell, 74 years old, a resident of Pass Christian, MS, passed away on Friday, February 20, 2026.

Bo was born on October 7, 1951 in Gulfport, MS, to Freddie Blackwell and Pearline Marie Townsend. Bo worked as a commercial truck driver for numerous years. He loved working with his hands, and helping others.

Bo is preceded in death by his parents Freddie Blackwell and Pearline Marie Townsend; sister Henrietta Blackwell; brother Billy Blackwell; and son David Blackwell. He is survived by his wife Judith Sanders Blackwell; son Michael Derrick Blackwell (Jennifer); daughter, Maggie Blackwell Johnston (Scott); and brothers Randy Owen (Lisa), Clifford James "CJ" Stimeling (Gail), and Joseph Charles "JC" Stimeling (Traci). He is also survived by two step-sons, Robert Holley and Kenneth Holley (Shannon); and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Private services will be held at a later date, and interment will take place in Wolf River Cemetery, Kiln, MS. 

Bo's contagious laugh, smile, and love for life will be greatly missed. His generosity, and willingness to help others will be unmatched. Love you always; you will forever be missed.
