Eleanor S. Carter

Mrs. Eleanor S. Carter, age 92, of New Orleans, LA, passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2017. Mrs. Carter was a longtime resident of Metairie, LA and four year resident of Biloxi, MS. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Lewis Earl Carter; brother, Roy Q. Sewell, Jr and daughter-in-law, Sharon L. Carter. Survivors include her son, Mark L. (Sandra) Carter; grandchildren, Gavin Carter and Trish (Mason) Chapman, and numerous other relatives. Private services to be held at a later date. The family requests that donations be sent in her memory to the Alzheimers Association, and to join the "Walk To End Alzheimer's" in November. The family would like to give a special thanks to the loving caregivers and staff at Bay Cove Assisted Living; Notre Dame Hospice, and the loving caregivers at Kare Med Assisted Living in Ocean Springs. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
