Mrs. Eleanor M. Tyndall passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2016 in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Tyndall was a lifelong resident of the beautiful Gulf Coast of Mississippi. She was also one of the first women to break into the pipe building trades earning the title of the first female dual rate for the Tennessee Valley Authority. She was a member of the Local 436 in good standing. Mrs. Tyndall was also known as “The Rose Lady” on the MS Coast. She was a loving wife and mother and will be greatly missed.
Mrs. Tyndall was preceded in death by her parents, William Russell Flowers, Sr. and Essie Mae Flowers; four brothers, William R. Flowers, Jr., Earl Edward Flowers, Alton Flowers and Aubrey Flowers; and sister, Velma Schneider.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, William Gary Tyndall, Sr.; children, William G. “Billy” Tyndall, Jr., Roxanne Allen, Susan Reppentine, Patty Densmore, and Kathleen (Benny) Noto; 10 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; sister, Juanita Pollard and Peggy (Doug) Nitcavic.
Family and friends may visit at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Thursday, July 14, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a memorial service at 7:00 p.m.
