Eleanora "Girlie" Thibodeaux

Eleanora “Girlie” Thibodeaux, 91, passed away January 6, 2022. Eleanora was born in Biloxi on October 16, 1930 to Benjamin and Annie Casper.

She was a life long resident of Biloxi Back Bay. She was a past member of Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary, a member of St John’s Church Council, and she received the Lumen Christi Award at St. John’s Catholic Church.

Eleanora is preceded in death by her husband, Walter J. Thibodeaux; her parents, Benjamin and Annie Casper; son, Kenny Joseph Thibodeaux; brothers, Link Casper and James Casper; and sister, Bea Bounds.

Survivors include her daughter, Kathi (James) Stubel; sons, James (Deborah) Thibodeaux, David (Becky) Thibodeaux, and Gerry (Amy) Thibodeaux; grandchildren, James, Amber, Aaron, Jake, Kaitlyn, Garrett, and Annie; and great-grandchildren, Kathryn, Ava, Brantley, Kennly, Erin, Weslyn, Linden, Declan, and Ava Rose.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at Blessed Francis Xavier Seelos from 10 AM- 11 AM with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11 AM. Interment will be at Biloxi National Cemetery. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Eleanora “Girlie” Thibodeaux.
