Elizabeth "Betty" Smith

Mrs. Elizabeth "Betty" Smith, age 86, of Ocean Springs, MS., died Friday, August 12, 2005, in Blue Ash, Ohio. Mrs. Smith was a resident of the community for 37 years and a longtime resident of Gulf Hills. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Francis "Fritz" Smith, three sisters, three brothers, and her parents, Edward and Alice Heriza. Mrs. Smith is survived by a daughter, Julie Shockley of Cincinnati, Ohio, a son, David Smith of Seminole, AL., a brother, Frank Heriza of Soap Lake, WA., nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:30 PM on Thursday, August 18, 2005, at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, where friends may call from 11:30 AM-12:30 PM. Burial will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery.
