Elizabeth Ann Gruenberg

Elizabeth Ann Gruenberg, age 67, of Ocean Springs, MS passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2024.

She was born in Davenport, Iowa on August 7, 1956 to Norman Steele and Mary Hamilton Steele. She was a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi with a BA in Elementary Education, for which she taught for many years.  She enjoyed attending Celtic Thunder concerts, doing puzzles and coffee with friends. 

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Jim Steele. 

She is survived by her daughter, Mary Dubuisson, and brother, Norman (Skip) Steele.  

Visitation will be Friday, April 5, 2024 from 3:00 pm until 4:00 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 4:00 p.m. at Bradford O’Keefe Funeral Home, Ocean Springs Chapel.

The family would like to give special thanks to the Nicolson’s, Shellie Knighton, the Dubuisson Family, and Tiger McCann for their love and support.
