Elizabeth Odom Moon

Elizabeth Odom Moon of West Monroe, Louisiana was born May 15, 1926, in Meridian, Mississippi and passed away on November 28, 2025.

Mrs. Moon was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John William Moon Sr.; her parents, Mr. Horace Glen Odom and Mrs. Clara Belle Lucas Odom; daughter, Judith Ann Moon; sons, John W. Moon Jr. and Glen Frederick Moon; and sister, Vermelle McDonald.

Those left to love and cherish her memory are her daughter, Nancy Smith and husband Dean; sister, Glenda Odom Rooney; daughters-in-law, Peggy White Moon and Sara Moon; 5 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service to honor Mrs. Moon will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Evergreen Cemetery in Gulfport.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to McGuire Methodist Church or Bawcomville Hope.
