Emiko Burnett

Emiko Burnett, 89, of Biloxi, MS, passed away Friday, November 11, 2022. Mrs. Burnett was born in Japan on August 26, 1933 to Sadao and Yoshi Sasaki.

Mrs. Burnett worked at the Hilton hotel as a banquet waitress for 10 years. In her free time, she enjoyed cooking Japanese food and visiting with her friends. She was well known and loved in the community.

She is survived by her spouse of 47 years, Laurence W. Burnett Jr. and son-in-law, Jeffrey Powell.

A memorial service will be held from 5 pm to 7 pm on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Emiko Burnett.
