Emilie Lansford

Emilie Johnston Lansford, 91, of Ocean Springs, MS passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2026.

She was born in Benton County, MS. She was a devoted member of St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in Ocean Springs. She loved traveling, cooking, and gardening. She married the love of her life, John Lansford. She was a devoted mother to her children and grandchild.

Emilie was preceded in death by her husband, John Lansford; parents, Dewitt and Sally Johnston; sisters, Dorothy Isonhood, Ida Cook, and Blannie Martin; and brothers, Leslie Johnston, Jay Johnson, and Chase Johnston.

She is survived by her sons, Paul Lansford and Matthew (Lindol) Lansford; grandson, Cameron (Jourdan) Lansford; step grandchild, Lainey Moran, step great-grandchildren, Jaiden, Lilah, Ivorie, and Layne; brother, Charles Johnston; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at Biloxi National Cemetery.
