Emily Olivia Evans

Emily Olivia Evans, age 81, of Long Beach, Mississippi, passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2022.

Ms. Evans was a long-time resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. She was a Girl Scout leader and foster parent to thirteen children. Ms. Evans was an active member of Trinity Pentecostal Tabernacle of Long Beach where she taught Sunday school and sang in the choir. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Ms. Evans was preceded in death by her parents, William F. Miller and Verta Mae Griffin; siblings, Charles Miller, Judy Reid, and Charlene Lizana; grandson, Micah Ladner; infant son, Steven Evans; and the father of her children, Thomas R. Evans.

Survivors include her children, Tami Ladner (Leland, Jr), Doreen Ladner, Daryl Evans, and Brandon Evans (Niki); grandchildren, Jonathan Ladner, Timothy Ladner, Ryan Ladner, Bradley Ladner, Andrew Evans, Colby Evans, Nicolas Ladner, Devon Stachowiak, Ryan Stachowiak, Zachary Evans, Megan Evans, Christain Ladner, and Sawyer Evans; great-grandchildren, Katelyn, Judah, Miles, Raiden, Ainsley, Raylin, Evey, Allison, Cameron, Kennedy, McKenna, Khloe, Olivia, Ramona, Kinlee, Ambrose, and Everett; and siblings, Patsy Dickens, John Miller, and Alton Miller.

A memorial service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at Trinity Pentecostal Tabernacle Church, 6146 Beatline Rd, Long Beach, MS 39560. Friends may visit from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. There will be a procession to Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens following the service. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15^th Street, Gulfport is honored to serve the Evans family.
