Emily Mae Jones

Emily Mae Jones, 87, of Biloxi, MS, died Monday, August 8, 2011 in Biloxi. Emily worked with her husband , building a successful air conditioning business in Metairie. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was a faithful and loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister to her family and loved her grandchildren dearly. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Jones; her daughter, Marcia Louise Jones; her granddaughter, Gwen Madere; her sisters, Ruth Wilkinson and Lydia Baum; and her brother, William Watson. Survivors include her sisters, Reba Louise Swingle of Biloxi, Rhoda Thomas of Friendswood, Texas and Josephine Chamberlain of Memphis, TN; her grandchildren, Ross Hunt, Amanda Barbish and Drew Barbish; her great-grandchildren, Blain Madere and Seth Madere; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Friday, August 12, 2011 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am with an 11:00 am funeral service all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Ocean Springs.
