Emma Lou Cole Hare

Emma Lou Cole Hare, age 94, of Biloxi, MS passed away at home on January 7, 2026.

Emma was born on May 23, 1931, in McComb, MS to John and Mary Cole. After she graduated from McComb High School and Summit Junior College, Emma went on to get her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Houston. Emma was an FHA inspector and a loving housewife.

She was predeceased by her parents, John P. Cole and Mary E. Carter Cole; husband, Ben Hare; son, William Robert Hare; and her brother, John Carter Cole.

She is survived by her daughter, Teresa Dianne Hare Foster; grandchildren, Ian A. Foster, Colin Foster, and William B. Hare; great-grandchildren, Inara R. Foster, Harper Hare, Houston Hare, and Harlow Hare; and sisters, Ethel O. Cole Radzewicz and Thelma E. Cole Ellis.
