Emma Gialone Favorito

Emma Favorito, 88 of Ocean Springs, MS passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2022.

She was born on September 29, 1933 in Naples, Italy to Giovanni Gialone and Concetta Troise. She was a longtime resident of Ocean Springs. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and aunt. She will be missed by all who knew her. She loved cooking, entertaining, and going to thrift stores. She never met a stranger and had an infectious laugh.

Emma was preceded in death by her parents, Giovanni Gialone and Concetta Troise; child, Joy Marie Dickenson; grandson, Kyle Nance; and siblings, Benito Gialone, Vincenzo Gialone, Giovanni Gialone, and Antonietta Alppolonia.

She is survived by her husband, John Favorito; children, Patricia (Shane) Stonesifer, John Nance, and Elizabeth Nance; seven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; five great great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and her pet, Misty.
