Emma Jean Tanner

Emma Jean Tanner, age 76, of Vancleave, passed away on Thursday, July 10, 2025.

Mrs. Tanner was a longtime resident of Vancleave, MS. She was an active member of Vancleave RLDS Church of Vancleave. She was a loving mother and grandmother (maw-maw). She always made sure no one went without and was always willing to help where needed. Her kids and grandkids were her world. She always had a smile on her face and never complained. She will be missed by all that knew her. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Earl Tanner and her parents, Rufus and Sally Skelton.

Survivors include 3 children, Rodney (Jennifer) Tanner, Wesley (Alexandria Tanner) and Ada Cauley and 5 grandchildren, Hunter Tanner, Ashtin Tanner, Hayden Cauley, Gracyn Cauley and Presley Tanner.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at Vancleave RLDS Church, Vancleave, MS. Friends may visit one hour prior. Burial will follow at the Vancleave RLDS Church Cemetery.
