Ethel Marie Landry Skrmetta

Mrs. Ethel Marie Landry Skrmetta, 83, of Biloxi, MS, died Wednesday, July 19, 2006, in Biloxi, MS. Mrs. Skrmetta was a native of Patterson, LA and a longtime resident of Biloxi. She was a member of Nativity BVM Catholic Church of Biloxi. Mrs. Skrmetta was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence "Ham" Skremetta; her parents, Sheldon Landry, Sr. and Nola Girourad Landry, a brother, Sheldon Landry Jr; and a grandson, Rodney Seymour, Jr. Survivors include two daughters Brenda Ibele and her husband Carroll of D'Iberville and Charlotte Price and her husband Wyatt of Ocean Springs; one son, Glenn Foret and his wife Becky of Biloxi; two sisters, Andrea Broach and Catherine Gangi; one brother Lonnie Landry; six grandchildren; Glenn Ibele, Charlie Ibele, Laurie Shivers, Stephanie Seymour, Chris Foret and Cherie Gerlits; and fifteen great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, July 21, 2006, at 11:00 a.m. at Nativity BVM Catholic Church where friends may visit one hour before service time. Interment will follow in Biloxi City Cemetery . In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials to Quality Hospice 2279 Atkinson Road, Biloxi, MS 39531. The Pass Road Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi is in charge of arrangments.
