Eugene E. Smith

Mr. Eugene E. Smith, 93, of Woolmarket, died Monday, May 31, 2010, in D'Iberville. Mr. Smith was born in LaRue, MS and had been a lifelong resident of the coast. He loved nature, trained his own bird dogs and was an avid bird hunter. Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his wife, LeMerle Taylor Smith. He is survived by two sons, Julian "J. W." (Loretta) Smith and Larry E. Smith; six grandchildren and and eight great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, and many friends. The family extends a special thank you to Greenbrian Nursing Center for the wonderful care they provided. Visitation is Wednesday, June 2, 2010, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 675 Howard Avenue, in Biloxi. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Coalville Cemetery.
