Eunice Marie Sonnier

Eunice Marie Sonnier, 85, of Biloxi, MS died on Wednesday, April 20, 2011. Mrs. Sonnier was a lifelong resident of the Gulf Coast. She was a volunteer at Biloxi Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Sonnier was also a member of Nativity Blessed Virgin Mary Cathedral. She is preceded in death by her husband, Hypolite "Biscuit" Sonnier; daughter, Shirley Therkelsen; son, Robert A. Sonnier; parents, O'Neal Hoube and Hilda Rocco; one sister and two brothers. Mrs. Sonnier is survived by her daughters, Barbara (Joe) Webster and Judy Hickam both of Biloxi; sons, C. J. (Faye) Sonnier of St. Martinsville, LA, O'Neal (Pat) Sonnier of Oakgrove, KY, Glenn Sonnier of D'Iberville, Joey (Michele) Sonnier of Long Island, NY and Chris (Donna) Sonnier of Long Beach; twenty-two grandchildren, forty-two great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. Family wishes to thank the staff of BRMC and Deaconess Hospice for their excellent and kind care. A Mass of Christian burial will be on Monday, April 25, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Nativity BVM Cathedral. Friends may visit from 9:30 a.m. until mass time. Interment will follow in D'Iberville Memorial Park. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue, Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.
