Eunice Leckich Kaufman Misko, age 95, passed away at home surrounded by family on Friday, September 14, 2018.
Mrs. Misko was born in Biloxi, MS on October 21, 1922 to Carston Leckich, Sr. and Margaret Lunet Leckich. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Elmer Otis Kaufman, and her husband of 51 years, Albert Misko, Sr., parents, grandchildren, Andrea and Amber Kaufman, brothers, Carston Leckich, Jr. and Jerry Leckich.
Survivors include her children, Lauree West (Billy), Andre Kaufman (Kathleen), Otis Kaufman (Joy), Albert Misko, Jr. (Iva) and Margaret Van Loon (Dennis), grandchildren, Jason Pugh (Laura), Kelly Pilger (David), Tiffany Kaufman, April Kaufman, Chad Misko (Kristy), Brooke Mask (David), Kyle Misko (Mallori), and Jason Burke., great-grandchildren, Shiloh, Skylar, Shae, Solomon, Ryan, Jacob, Kayla, Kaden, Miles, Ryan, Kaitlyn, Keith, Kennedy, McKenzie, Danielle, and David, great great grandchildren Ryder, Rayden, Nora, and Clara.
Mrs. Misko was a homemaker and a life-long resident of the Gulf Coast. She enjoyed cooking for her family, especially seafood gumbo, red beans and rice, and daube spaghetti. She was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Ocean Springs.
Mimi will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. Friends may visit 30 minutes prior to service. Burial will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery at 12:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to the charity of your choice.
