Florence A. "Fab" Ruebel

Florence A. “Fab” Ruebel, 87, of Biloxi, MS passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2022. Florence was born April 7, 1935 to Robert and Florence Bruce.

Though she was a St. Louis, MO native, Florence has resided on the Mississippi Gulf Coast since 1976. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Ocean Springs where she volunteered at the Lydia Sunday School class. Florence was also a member of The Order of the Eastern Star.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Florence Bruce; husband, Stanley F. Ruebel; and sister, Mary Ann Botts.

Survivors include her two daughters, Lydia (Carl) Middlekauff and Maria (Steve) Struppa; son, Mark (Huong) Ruebel; step-son, Doug Ruebel; eleven grandchildren; and seventeen great- grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home. Friends are invited to visit one hour prior. Interment will be at Biloxi National Cemetery.  The family would like to say a special thanks to Ms. Amette and Ms. Chanelle as devoted caregivers.
