Floy Lee Amos

Floy Lee Amos, 85, of Ocean Springs, MS died on Friday, October 19, 2012. Mrs. Amos was a very giving and generous homemaker who always put others first. She enjoyed fishing and loved to play the slots. Mrs. Amos is preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Alvin Amos; parents, Joseph and Alponsine Basque; son, Ernest Amos, Jr.; sisters, Clotille, Lucille and Ivan; brothers, Luther, Joseph and Alva. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Fore of Ocean Springs; son, Phillip David Amos; brother, Bernard; eight grandchildren, Craig and Todd Gandy, Rochelle Bowlin, Angel Helgeson, Timothy Amos, Kelly Kowalski, Phillip Amos II and Mellissa Floyd and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be on Monday, October 22, 2012 at 12:30 p.m. at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home. Friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow in Basque Cemetery in St. Martin.
