Frances Virlinzi Paz

Frances Virlinzi Paz, 98 of Ocean Springs passed away on September 12, 2022.

She was born in New York City on May 20, 1924. She was a school nurse at the Elementary School of her only daughter in Rockledge, FL. She also helped organize the first Girl Scout Troop in Rockledge, FL. She was a very giving and generous person and loved her family very much. She resided in Ocean Springs for the past fifty-one years. She was a long- time member of St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in Ocean Springs. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at Ocean Springs Hospital for over twenty years.

Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph B. Paz; parents, Gaetano and Anna Virlinzi; three sisters; one brother; and grandchild, Christian J. Sullivan.

She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn P. James; great-grandchildren, Reagan M. James and Taylor B. Lumpkin; and great-great grandchild, T. Sullivan Lamberth.
