Freda C. Beaugez

Freda C. Beaugez, 88, of Ocean Springs, MS passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Beaugez was a native of Pennsylvania, a resident of Ocean Springs since 1960 and a U.S.A.F. Veteran. She retired from Keesler Air Force Base Civil Service. Mrs. Beaugez was the last civilian to win the U.S.A.F. Falcon Award. She was a diehard Pittsburg Steelers and Penn State fan. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Genevieve Corey; her brothers, Fr. George and James; her sisters, Ida, Manna and Zella; and her grandson, Tanner Fountain. Mrs. Beaugez’s survivors include her husband of 57 years, Herbert Beaugez, Jr.; her children, Keith (Leslie) Beaugez, Sharon (Vito III) Canizaro, Brian Beaugez and Stephanie (Matt) Jermyn; her grandchildren, Jacqueline, Meghan, Rachel, Claire, Harrison, Joshua, Vito IV, Kyle and Cori; and her sister, Lottie Bertino. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 12:00 pm. Friends may visit from 10:00 am until mass time. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
