Frederick Rosseter Collins Jr., 86, passed away on Sunday July 24, 2016.
He was born in Norfolk, Virginia to Frederick Rosseter Collins Sr. and Annie Collins, both deceased. Frederick loved to be around the Coast and especially working in it.
He proudly served in the US Navy for 20 years as a rescue diver. After his military service Frederick continued diving working for the Taylor Diving and Salvage Company. Frederick was of the old school, using his hands to fix things and kept the do it yourself kind of mentality.
He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Marion Collins. They met during his time in Holland and have been together since. Frederick is also survived by his two daughters, Sharon Rohde and Janet Kinney, as well as his sister Betty Lee Isdell.
Visitation is being held at the Pass Rd location of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral home, located at 2511 Pass Rd., Biloxi, MS. The visitation will be on Thursday August 4th, 2016 from 1pm until 2pm. Immediately following the visitation will be a graveside service at the Biloxi National Cemetery, at 2:30pm. Bradford-O’Keefe on 15th St in Gulfport is in charge of the arrangements.
