Gary Willard Snyder

Mr. Gary Willard Snyder, age 78, of Ocean Springs, passed away on Monday, April 15, 2019. Gary was born on October 12, 1940, in Massillon, OH, to Dale W. Snyder and Hazel June Mooney. He was a machinist at Huntington Ingalls Shipbuilding from 1974 to 2002. He enjoyed going to yard sales every Saturday and helping those in need. Gary was a member of the Church of Latter-Day Saints. He enjoyed sailing, fishing and astronomy. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Constance Veronica Snyder, children, Honey Snyder Stowers, Diane Friedman and Robert "Bobby" Snyder as well as nine grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Thursday, April 18, from 11am until 12 noon, with a 12 noon chapel service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will be (at a later date) in Crestlawn Memorial Park.
