George William Griffin, III

George William “Will” Griffin, III, age 54, of Ocean Springs, MS passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2025.

Will was born on December 21, 1970, in Greenville, MS. He attended high school at Woodland Hills High School in Jackson, MS and attended Mississippi State University where he earned a master’s degree. He was awarded many academic and sports awards throughout school. Will worked as a Land Negotiator and won the Outstanding Award for affordable housing. He also served in the U.S. Navy. During his spare time, he enjoyed music, sports and being on the beach.

Will is preceded in death by his father, George William Griffin, Jr. Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Susan Marion Griffin.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to friends, Ward Monroe and Chris Siefert for their support and all Will’s friends from Starkville, MS.
