George W. "Bucky" Houtz III

George W. Houtz III, age 64, of Gulfport Mississippi died on September 6, 2022.

George was born on August 17, 1958 in Gulfport, Mississippi. He graduated from Gulfport East High School in 1976.

George joined the U.S. Army in his early career, serving as a Supply Sergeant for several years. He was a proud patriot and loved his country. George worked at several car dealerships in Mississippi, California, and Georgia, where he served in various positions.
He loved the Gulf Coast. He loved fishing, football, and Nascar.

George was preceded in death by his father, George W. Houtz Jr.

Survivors include his mom, Dorothy Houtz; sisters, Carla Blackwood (Charlie) and Rhonda Houtz; brother, Brian Houtz (Andrea); 3 daughters, Amber Tukovits (Joe), Rachel Houtz, and Heather Houtz; he also had many nieces and nephews.

Friends and Family may gather at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Gulfport on Tuesday, September 13th from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. A private family service will be held on Monday, September 19th at Evergreen Cemetery in Gulfport. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15^th Street, Gulfport is honored to serve the Houtz family.
