George Adolph Meisner

George Adolph Meisner, age 80, of Gulfport, passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2026.

George was born on October 9, 1945, in Gulfport, MS. He graduated from Harrison Central High School and attended Perkinston Junior College. George moved to the Dallas/Plano area of Texas where he lived for 50 years. He worked as a mechanic in various bowling alleys and participated in many leagues and tournaments. He also played soccer.

George was preceded in death by his wife, Marie; his parents, Adolph and Nan Meisner; his two sisters, Cora Meisner (Raymond LeFebvre) and Ruth Slade (Carl); and two nephews.

He is survived by one sister, Carol Hare; seven nieces; and six nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 24, 2026, at Bradford O’Keefe Funeral Home, 1726 15th Street, Gulfport, where friends may visit beginning at 10:00 a.m.
