George R. Anglado, Jr.

Mr. George Anglado, Jr., 69, D’Iberville, MS passed away at home from a brief illness on Thursday, March 1, 2012. George was born on August 5, 1942 in Biloxi to George, Sr. and Evelyn Anglado. He worked his whole life in the seafood industry, working for Suarez Seafood, West Seafood and J & W Seafood. After retirement, he still enjoyed visiting the shrimp factory. George enjoyed bass fishing with his fishing partner, son-in-law, Johnny and also enjoyed watching football. He loved his family and loved spending time with them, especially during the holidays. He also enjoyed spending time with his two musketeers of the neighbor. George’s family was his pride and joy. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. George is preceded in death by his father, George Anglado, Sr. He leaves behind his loving wife of 50 years, Gloria; three daughters, Fe Brown (Billy) of Vancleave, Wendy Fayard (Johnny) of Biloxi and Cindy Schaefer (Carl) of Saucier; grandchildren, Craig Joris, Misty Chastain (Bishop), Melissa Quave (Davey), Justin Baugh, Skylar Broadhead, Amanda Cortez and Brandon Schaefer; great-grandchildren, Gracie Joris, Emma Grace Quave, Landon Joris, Trey and Kaelie Chastain and Jaxon Cortez and his beloved grand-dog, Nemo and his cat, Buddy. George also leaves behind his mother, Evelyn Anglado and his sister, Mary Samaras both of California. Funeral services will be on Monday, March 5, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Biloxi. Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow in Biloxi City Cemetery. Paulbearers are Johnny Fayard, Carl Schaefer, Justin Baugh, Craig Joris, Gary McGinn, Bishop Chastain, Davey Quave, Snip McLendon, James Fountain, Billy Schonewitz and Terry Jacobs. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Gulfport Memorial and SAADS for all their care and support through this difficult time.
