George Elmer Terry

George Terry, Jr., age 69, passed away on Monday, February 18, 2019. Mr. Terry was born in Biloxi and was a lifelong resident of Ocean Springs. He enjoyed people and working in his dad’s bar. He also enjoyed old westerns. Mr. Terry had a smile and a handshake for everyone and an extra hug for the ladies. He will be missed by all who knew him and loved him. Mr. Terry was preceded in death by his parents, George “Bunk” Terry and Catherine S. Carroll; brothers, Richard Terry and Ben S. Terry; and sister, Amanda L. Carroll. Survivors include his sisters, Elaine (Olin) Parker and Kitty Terry Borkowski; sister-in-law, Donna Terry; brothers, John L. Terry and Jeff L. Carroll; and 14 nieces and nephews. A service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, February 22, 2019 at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home. Friends may visit two hours prior to service. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
