Geri Lynn Nicholls

Mrs. Geri Lynn Nicholls, age 58, of Ocean Springs, passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2017. Mrs. Nicholls was a longtime resident of the coast. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Dr. Richard A. Nicholls; maternal grandmother, Alice Etha Yarbrough; and paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie McClendon. Survivors include her mother, Sylvia McClendon of Jacksonville, FL, father, Jerry McClendon of Metairie, LA, daughter, Michelle (Jerry) Jackson, son, Michael (Lethel) Bowden, all of Ocean Springs, MS; two brothers, Jeffrey (Lynn) McClendon of Jacksonville, FL and Harry McClendon of Metairie, LA; sister, Tricia (Stephen) Douville of Metairie, LA; grandchildren, Julian Gainer, Reid Bowden and Avery Higginbotham; best friend and father of her children, Bobby (Susan) Bowden of Hurley, MS; and nephews, Jeffrey McClendon and Colt McClendon; special friend, Don Picou of Bay St. Louis, MS; and their fur baby, Griffin. Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., with an 11:00 a.m. chapel service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
