Gerri King

Gerri King, age 69, of Biloxi, died Tuesday, July 17, 2012. Mrs. King was born in Orlando Florida and a resident of the MS Gulf Coast for 18 years. She was a pastor’s wife and very involved in the ministry at D’Iberville Christian Assembly. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Teresa Savell; son, Michael Savell; and father, Louie Stull. Survivors include her husband, James H. King, Sr.; three daughters, Lori Johnson, Sherrell Jones, and Daphne (Eric) David; two sons, Robert (Cindy) Savell and James H. King, Jr.; mother, Ernestine Stull; two sisters, Sandra (Tommy) Little and JoAnn (Jim) Bass; twelve grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family would prefer memorials to be made to Children’s Fund, c/o D’Iberville Christian Assembly, 3496 Big Ridge Rd., D’Iberville, MS 39540. Visitation will be Saturday, July 21, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. with a service starting at 1:00, all at the D’Iberville Christian Assembly. Interment will follow at Biloxi City Cemetery. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of funeral arrangements.
