Giap Minh Hoang

Mr. Giap Minh Hoang, age 59, passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2017 in Ocean Springs, MS. Mr. Hoang was born in Vietnam and was a resident of the United States since 1981. He was a Commercial Fisherman in the Maritime Industry. He was a member of the Vietnamese Martyrs Catholic Church where he was a pianist and a member of the church choir. He is preceded in death by his mother, Quet Ha. Survivors include his wife, Julie Nguyen; daughter, Thuy Tien Hoang; son, Huy Thuong Hoang; father, Dinh Van Hoang; sisters, Thuy Anh Hoang, Phuong Xuyen Hoang and Tam Xuyen Hoang; and brothers, Loc Tu Hoang and Phat Thanh Hoang. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 3rd, Thursday, January 4th and Friday, January 5th from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and on Saturday, January 6, 2018 from 8:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. all at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Saturday at the Vietnamese Martyrs Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
