Glen James Jordan

Glen James Jordan, age 81, of Biloxi went to be with his Lord Monday, September 18, 2017, in D’Iberville. Mr. Jordan was a lifelong resident of Mississippi although his business ventures kept him in New Orleans for many years. He loved the Lord and served Him with all his might and heart and hand. He was a believer in helping others and being a good steward of all the Lord blessed him with. He was preceded in death by his wife, Laura Mae Jordan, his parents, Monroe and Ila Jordan, his brothers, Ernest Jordan and Burton Bond Jordan. He is survived by three daughters, Karen Ila Jordan, Cherri Jordan, and Lori (Regis) Jordan Bohr; and five grandchildren, Nicholas James Coteus, Antonia Maeclare Coteus, Harris Jordan Coteus, Marcela Iliana Ruiz, and Isabel Mae Schacherbauer. The funeral service is Thursday, September 21, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Sunflower Baptist Church in Perkinston, Stone County where friends may visit beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial follows at the Sunflower Cemetery. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Gideon’s International, Attn: Biloxi Camp, 12408 Ridgeland Court, Gulfport, MS 39503 Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, O’Neal Road, Gulfport is in charge of arrangements.
