Gloria Ann Bonner Higginbothm-Dehon

Gloria Ann Bonner Higginbotham-Dehon, age 84, of Biloxi, Mississippi passed away on May 20, 2025. Gloria was born to Olen Bonner and Johnnie Weatherly Bonner in 1940 in Salem, Washington. Gloria was fearless and a jack-of-all-trades. She enjoyed being surrounded by her family, dancing, playing cards and trying her luck at Boomtown. Gloria attended Biloxi High School and worked as a dental assistant for four decades. She enjoyed watching movies and golf (especially Tiger Woods) and loved cheering on the New Orleans Saints.

Gloria was predeceased by her parents; son, Kyle Higginbotham; husband and father of her children, Carey Higginbotham; husband, Alfred Dehon; sister, Jean Boudwin; brothers, Rod Bonner and Mack Bonner; and step-son, Kirk Dehon.

Gloria is survived by her children, Kim Gex, Karee (Brian) Broom, Kevin Higginbotham and Kyra (Lance) Monk. Gloria was “Granny” to her eight grandchildren, Trey (Jessica) Gex, Max (Cameron) Meeker, Danaher Broom, Nikki Higginbotham, Clinton “CC” Higginbotham, Aaron Higginbotham, Allyson (Ross) Neel and Jared Monk and seven great-grandchildren, Ashley, Travis, Caroline, Charlotte, Hartwell, Sewall and Millie. She is also survived by her sisters, Olene Cox and Ann Bonner; sisters-in-law, Paula Bonner and Marsha (Randy) Fenerty; and step-son, Ken (Leta) Dehon and their boys, Raegan and Zachary. A special thanks from her family to her friend and loving caregiver, Jennifer McElroy, and her furry companion “Pixie”.

A celebration of Gloria’s life will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 675 Howard Ave., Biloxi, MS at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Gloria Higginbotham-Dehon.
