Grace Ellen Westbrook

On March 23, 2025, Grace Ellen Westbrook was peacefully called home to Heaven. Whether you knew her as Grace, Grace Ellen, Mrs. Gracie, or simply Mom, you knew a woman whose kindness, compassion, and love left a lasting impact on everyone she met. Her care for others was wholehearted and unwavering—if she loved you, you felt it deeply. She lived a life marked by selflessness, always putting the needs of others before her own.

Born on August 5, 1957, in Vicksburg, Mississippi, Grace was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend. She began her career as a beautician, bringing joy and confidence to her clients, before finding her true calling in nurturing children at Vicksburg Catholic School. There, she was a beloved presence in the after-school care program and cafeteria, offering warmth, laughter, and love to generations of students.

Grace is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Kevin Westbrook; her son, Kevin Andrew Westbrook, II, and his wife, Angela; her brother, Howard Ettinger; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family from the Westbrook and Ettinger families. She will be deeply missed by all who knows and love her.

She is now reunited in eternal peace with her precious granddaughter, Lisa Grace Westbrook; her beloved parents, Dorothy and Sheldon Kenworthy; her brother, George Ettinger; her nephew, George Smith Ettinger; and many cherished family members who have gone before her.

A visitation will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 2nd, at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Ocean Springs, Mississippi, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 PM. A reception will follow at the Knights of Columbus Hall located behind St. Alphonsus.
