Greta Alice Griffin

Greta Alice Griffin, age 82, of Biloxi, died Tuesday, January 19, 2010 in Gulfport. She was born in Mars Hill, Maine and had been a resident of the Gulf Coast since 1974. She was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church. She was retired from civil service and was formerly a receptionist at Lang Funeral Home. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Laura Jean Patterson Allen; and a son, Hugh James Patterson. She is survived by her husband, Levi Fairon Griffin of Biloxi; a daughter, Heather (Dennis) DeBord of Long Beach; a son, Robert Alan Patterson of Biloxi; eight grandchildren, Bradley Ozenghar, Shannon Ozenghar, Fairon Allen, William Patterson, Scott Patterson, Laura Patterson, Tyler Roux, and Lauren Roux; and five great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held Friday, January 22, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport, where friends may visit from 1:00 p.m. until the service. Interment will follow at DeLisle Cemetery in Harrison County.
