Harold E. Harmic, Sr., 85, passed away Saturday, March 10, 2012 at his home in Huntington, W. VA. surrounded by his family.
Mr. Harmic was a longtime resident of Ocean Springs where he raised his family. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy and U. S. Air Force. He worked as a paint contractor along the Gulf Coast until his retirement in 2008.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Janet Troney Harmic; two daughters, Deborah Ann Olson and Marie Elaine Harmic; son, Harold E. Harmic, Jr.; and grandson Joshua Dell Harmic.
Survivors include two sons, Joe (Karen) Harmic of Huntington, W. VA and Robert “Bobby” Harmic of Ocean Springs, MS; sister, Bertha Hubler of Clearfield, PA; brother, David Harmic of Grampian, PA; twelve grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
A Service will be held at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church where friends may visit from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park with Military Honors.
