Harvey Lee Callahan

Harvey Callahan, age 67, son of Doyne and Abbie Callahan of Yellville, Arkansas, passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2024.

Harvey was born July 22, 1957, and was a longtime resident of Gulfport, MS. He was married to his loving wife, Mary, for 42 years. He was a generous soul and will be missed dearly. Harvey loved playing with his grandchildren and escaping to the Ozarks whenever he could. He was a follower of Jesus and looked forward to being with Him for eternity. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. 

Harvey is preceded in death by his parents, Doyne and Abbie Callahan; his siblings, Linda & (brother-in-law) Curtis Vick, Brenda Fechter, and Joe Callahan.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Callahan; his sisters, Sharon and Diane; his children, Ezra and Ashley, Elizabeth and Tim; and his grandchildren, Adam, Mary Jo, Elizabeth, Helen, and Timothy.

Services will be held at Michael Memorial Baptist Church in Gulfport on Thursday, November 21, 2024 at 3:00 pm. Visitation will be held from 1:00 - 3:00 pm.  Interment will be in Floral Hills Memorial Park at a later date.
