Harvey "Penny" Cole II

Harvey Penfield “Penny” Cole II, age 88, of Gulfport, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2024.

Mr. Cole was born on December 17, 1935 in New Orleans, LA. He earned a master’s degree from the University of Southern Mississippi. Harvey was a Certified Life Underwriter and his employment included CLU, CFP, and Director of Financial Services. He was also named most outstanding salesman. Harvey enjoyed boating, sailing, and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald Davis Cole and Helen Wigginton and his brother, Donald D. Cole, Jr.

Survivors include his wife, Marianne “Mugsy” Cole; children, Harvey P. Cole III, MD and Kim Cole Daglis; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and his pet, Bella.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at St. James Catholic Church, 366 Cowan Road, Gulfport, MS 39507. Friends may visit one-hour prior to Mass. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Harvey “Penny” Cole II.
