Hattie L. Farrar

Mrs. Hattie L. Farrar, age 88, of St. Martin, MS., died Friday, February 24, 2012, in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Farrar was a charter member of the D'Iberville Baptist Church in D'Iberville where she was a Sunday School teacher for many years. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, reading and her "critters" and was a very devout Christian lady. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rodell E. Farrar. Survivors include a daughter, Deborah Weems, son, John Farrar, two sisters, Lois Batson and Hazel Dobschutz, two grandchildren, Daphne Wren and Jeremy Brown, five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 28, 2012, from 9 am until 10 am, with a 10 am chapel service, all at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in D'Iberville Memorial Park.
