Hazel Ely Bang

Mrs. Hazel Ely Bang, age 72, of Gautier, MS died Thursday, August 16, 2012, in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Bang was a lifelong resident of Vancleave. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Bang and her parents, Horace Ely and Mahalia Carroll Ely. Survivors include a daughter, Vicky (Gene) Griffith, three sons, Clifton (Betty) Bang, James (Linda) Bang and Lester Bang, two sisters, Dorothy Ely and Betty Ewing, a brother, Horace Ely, Jr., (9) grandchildren, (28) great-grandchildren and (2) great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Sunday, August 19, 2012, from 12:30 pm until 1:30 pm, with a 1:30 pm chapel service, all at the Vancleave Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Vancleave Holiness Church Cemetery.
