Hazel Mary Virginia Ribble Hall, 93, of Gautier, MS died Monday, July 11, 2016 in Ocean Springs.
Mrs. Hall was born June 4, 1923. She moved to Mississippi from Virginia in 1992. In MS she was active with the Daughters of the King. She was a member of the Scottish Society and the Gulf Coast Opera Salon. Prior to moving to MS with her husband, Marion Clay Hall, she lived in Washington D.C. where she wrote T.V. scripts which aired in D.C. and Baltimore. Mrs. Hall also worked with the Washington Council of Churches where she obtained television time for Ministers and Priests. In Virginia, she was Evening Program Coordinator at Rappahannock Community College. She also originated the Chesapeake Writer's Conference.
She is preceded in death by her husband; and one of two sons.
Mrs. Hall leaves her son, Charles; her stepson, Barry; her grandsons, Dr. David Hall, Michael and Neill; and her granddaughter, Heather.
Memorial Services will be held at St. John's Episcopal Church in Ocean Springs on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 6:00 pm. Friends may visit from 5:00 pm until service time. Interment will be at St. Pierre’s Episcopal Church in Gautier.
